About PAT Testing?
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is the process of checking electrical devices for safety. It's done to find faults that could cause accidents, ensuring compliance with safety rules, and preventing mishaps like shocks or fires. Regular testing maintains a safety-focused environment and stops potential dangers before they happen.

Why?
Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974 states that employers must ensure the safety of their employees and the public, which includes electrical safety. PAT testing is a common way for businesses to meet this legal obligation by ensuring that electrical appliances are safe for use.
The frequency of testing depends on risk assessment and the type of equipment used in a particular environment.
